Dr. Justin Antony, founder president of TN FIDET represented the 3 boat owners and 26 fishermen detained in Bangladesh since 9 Dec 2014.

Dr. Justin Antony met the 26 fishermen in the Bahergat jail in Bangladesh. They were very happy to know of their release on 19 Jan 2015. He arranged Special food for them. Their worry that they could not be with their families during the Christmas and New Year was understood.

Later he met the concerned police personnel including the investigation officer of Monglathana. They are also very co-operative. The belongings of the boats such as battery, anchor were there. Besides, they agreed to return the GPS, wireless, laptops, etc.

They are going to appear to the court on 19th Jan 2015, and the same day they are to be released.

The boat owners are arranging for the fuel to return.
