President Trump announced today the FDA has approved the emergency authorization for convalescent plasma to treat Covid-19.

Plasma is the liquid portion of the blood. That liquid portion contains natural immunity that someone developed to contain the Covid-19. More than 100,000 people that affected Covid-19 and recovered from the decease donated the plasma and more than 70,000 people received treatments. FDA says they are very pleased with the results of the plasma treatment
